Abby update - April 30

Shhhhhhh--don't tell any doctors or therapists or teachers, but Abby's staying up way past her bedtime this evening. The Spurs' playoff game is finally on network TV, and Abby and Frank are such big Spurs fans that we agreed to let them just bed down in front of the TV. It's okay--Abby's morning homeroom teacher (A.K.A. me), told her she could sleep into a little of her math time tomorrow--just this once...

I think Abby's like most 7th graders these days and has just a touch of spring fever. Sometimes it's sometimes hard to know what's still injury recovery and what's a typical adolescent. Would Abby before the accident still have lost her spelling workbook today and have no clue where it is? We'll never know...so I'll just pray for recovery both from traumatic brain injury and from being 13... ;-)
