On October 3, 2006, Abby was hit by a car while riding as a passenger on a 4-wheeler. She was air-lifted to a trauma hospital with severe head injuries. She spent 3 weeks in ICU, 8 weeks in a rehab hospital, and 12 more weeks in therapy before returning to school part-time. The Abby Linam blog began as the story of her sometimes long, but miraculous recovery, our feelings and fears, our joy at being a family again,the many people who touched us along the way, and clinging to God when all other hope is weak. As we have been granted our life together as a family again, our blog has shifted to share that joy and news, always with a thankfulness for that precious gift of healing we have been given...
