Abby update - January 15

Well, the cold and ice delayed our start of therapy at St. David's today, so we just had to do therapy, Linam-style. Abby did some weight-training and stretching with the arms, some therapy ball and stair work on the legs, some violin practice and letter-writing for the hands, played some computer and card games for cognition and memory, made a volcano and some rolls (not at the same time!) just for fun, and then helped with some chores because they needed to be done. Pretty busy for a "day off," huh? Abby will be glad for the chance to get to St. David's "intensive" program and rest--ha! ha! (We did take time out for a movie together as a family tonight...)

Maybe we'll do snow-therapy tomorrow (!)...Until then, wishing you much warmth...
