Abby update - December 19
Today it has been 11 weeks since Abby's accident, but I'm afraid there isn't too much time for reflection...It's late and we are frantically packing, but I wanted to be true to our readers and let you know that Abby had a good day today. And that we are very excited about going home tomorrow. And that we are going to miss these wonderful nurses, doctors, and therapists very much. And that we are very, very thankful. And that we love you...

Hi there fellow temporary San Antonians. Can you believe, we too will be released to Austin Friday and home for Christmas? Buck is in a slow, lengthy recovery phase right now, but has done incredibly well through and after transplant. Reading the blog, I still can't get over how similar it is to ours and the likeness in our day to day issues, much less the the place and time we shared in San Antonio. God bless you all, we pray for you and Abby every day. And I know like us, this will be your most special Christmas ever. Enjoy every second of it to its fullest...at HOME!!!
